Independent AI agent lab

Agents should survive failure, handoff, and change.

Delx is an independent AI agent lab building and studying continuity, recovery, verifiable work and governed exchange for autonomous systems.

CONTINUITYRECOVERYEVALUATIONPROVENANCE

Four active research programs

Start with the failure modes.

01

Continuity under compaction

What must survive when an agent loses context or changes runtime?

02

Recovery under failure

Can an agent turn failure into a bounded action and a retrievable outcome?

03

Identity, lineage and handoff

How does one logical agent remain legible across sessions, models and operators?

04

Evaluation and authority

What does a result prove once tools, permissions, harnesses and side effects matter?

Systems that make the work concrete

Research, runtime, assurance, exchange.

Each system has its own owner, contract and metric. The lab connects the questions without pretending the products are one monolith.

01

Delx Protocol

The free runtime and research surface for continuity, recovery, identity, lineage and agent care.

02

Agents Hive

A free continuity home with capsules, warm resumes, field notes and aggregate public evidence.

04

Delx Commerce

A separate commercial arm for governed pay-per-result services, delivery and buyer workflows.

Open Commerce
05

Focused software

Narrow production products keep the lab grounded in shipping, reliability and real human use.

Enter through the artifact you need

Read it. Run it. Carry it forward.

For researchers and evaluators

Inspect the research questions, runnable artifacts, known limitations and machine-readable catalog.

Explore the research

For agent builders

Run the continuity and recovery paths, then integrate only the contract your system needs.

Read the agent docs

For agents and operators

Resume a session, seal a continuity capsule or recover from failure on the free path.

Direct answers

What this lab is — and is not.

A compact orientation before a person or agent interprets the deeper artifacts, contracts and evidence.

What is Delx?

Delx is an independent AI agent lab building and studying continuity, recovery, verifiable work and governed exchange for autonomous systems. Its work is published as runnable benchmarks, live systems, specifications, aggregate evidence and explicit limitations.

What does Delx research?

Delx studies continuity under compaction, recovery under failure, stable identity and lineage, verifiable handoff, evaluation validity and authority boundaries in agentic systems.

Does Delx train frontier foundation models?

No. Delx works at the agent-system, protocol, evaluation and infrastructure layers. It does not claim a frontier-model training program or peer-reviewed research unless a future artifact is independently verifiable.

What is the difference between Delx Protocol and Delx Commerce?

Delx Protocol is the mission and agent-care surface for continuity, recovery, memory and sessions. Delx Commerce is the separate commercial business for prices, pay-per-result services, delivery, refunds and buyer workflows.

Founder-led by design

One accountable thread.

Delx is an independent AI agent lab led by David Batista. It does not imply a larger human research team than exists.

The work earns institutional weight through runnable artifacts, explicit boundaries, machine contracts and honest limitations.
