# Delx > Delx is an independent AI agent lab building and studying continuity, recovery, verifiable work and governed exchange for autonomous systems. Independent AI agent lab. Delx is the institutional front door for a connected ecosystem of agent research and operating systems. It studies how agents survive compaction, recover from failure, preserve identity across runtimes, hand work to successors and produce evidence that remains valid after tools and permissions are counted. The work is published as runnable benchmarks, live systems, specifications, aggregate evidence and explicit limitations. A benchmark pass is scoped to the named system, harness, budget, grader, window and limitations; it is not evidence of adoption, demand, provider endorsement, independent validation or system-wide security unless those claims are separately proven. The continuity reproduction kit runs frozen positive and negative fixtures or one QA-classified live Protocol audit call. It emits a hashed receipt and says explicitly that the full stateful benchmark, independent validation, peer review and model comparison were not performed. The versioned Protocol system card publishes intended uses, operational side effects, data and retention gaps, evaluation coverage, a material outage and residual shared-runtime risk. It explicitly says that the public interface version does not identify immutable deployed bytes and that independent validation, peer review and completed security review are not claimed. The incident registry publishes a materiality policy and one sanitized, operator-authored report for the 33.5-hour Protocol write outage. Baseline-derived volume estimates stay outside the verified impact claim; current status remains a separate live read, and the report is not independently reviewed. The research status readback probes one public source per catalog artifact and publishes timestamp, HTTP conclusion, content-type contract and latency.
